#3 Marseilles, France
Oct 1st, 2014 at Friche la Belle de Mai
Alfons Alt invited 40 exclusive guests to his „Banquet T“, an evening full of artistic surprises and dedicated to the magic of colors. Hosted at his incredible studio in Marseilles, Alfons Alt created an event that led his guests on a unique journey through his craft, creativity and passion for color pigments. After serving red cocktails, Alfons gave a live demonstration of his pigmentation process and creative work to the sounds of Blandine Bacqué (Oboe) and Isabelle Chevalier (Spinet) playing „Teleman - concerto in G-mayor“. Right before the eyes of his guests Alfons created to artworks: „Mektoub“ and „34th“, celebrating his craft with all senses.
Surrounded by his artwork and tools, Alfons’ 40 guests were seated on a long dinner table to enjoy a breathtaking performance by stunning funambulist Aurelia Eidenberger backed by mezzo-sopranist Ninon Dann, singing „Air“ from Schubert. Enchanted by this extraordinary performance his guests we served a dinner consisting of several courses, representing each a different color. As if this evening couldn’t get any better, Alfons prepared a limited edition signed photograph he took with the Leica T and gave to it to his guests as a constant reminder of this one of a kind evening in Marseilles.
